Profile:

Background: Production Engineer specialized with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a European laboratory or European Inspection Company or in the Quality Department of an international buying house.

Skills: knowledge of European and other international safety requirements and norms applicable to the related products. Experience in quality controls, factory audits and products development. Good command of basic production processes of hardgoods; An Production Engineer should be able to handle communication with commercial teams.

Interpersonal skills: good English. An Production Engineer should be able to develop and maintain a clear and precise communication with Quality team in France, GS Commercial teams, and the suppliers. The practice of Chinese or French or Spanish would be appreciated.

Main duties:

In addition to the following duties, an Production Engineer may follow a number of products ranges directly.

Factories assessment: performing the technical audit of the production sites proposed by commercial teams, writing audit reports and monitoring the implementation of the corrective actions requested.

Providing and explaining Carrefour Quality Requirements to the Suppliers.

Products pre-qualification: assessing the compliance of the technical materials (test reports, certificates…) and samples proposed by the commercial teams. Submitting samples and technical files to the appointed laboratories as per Quality DMG instructions. Monitoring the modifications required on the products. Confirming OK Production to the factories and commercial teams.

Quality Control: preparing the inspection materials (checklists, samples, test reports) required by the inspectors to control the quality and conformity of the actual production based on the Quality Control Plan provided by the Production Manager. Reviewing the inspection reports received and releasing the “OK Quality” consignments.

Following the daily activities with the Merchandisers. Computing activity indicators based on the Production Manager guidelines.

Claims management: handling the claims rose during production (production delays, failed reports) or by the customers upon reception of the goods. Follow-up of corrective actions with the suppliers.

Sustainable issues: The Production Engineer needs to explain and give answers regarding social and environmental issues.

Maybe I could qualify for this job except that I only have two years work experience.my major is environmental engineering.Now I am working in an foreign company as a supplier development engineer. my duty is to responsible for supplier qualiy audit and perfered qualiy supplier program.we provide some training to our targeted supplier each month to help them to become our perfered quality supplier .we have over 300suppliers in asia region such as china, thailand ,Vietnam,etc.So this program could not only improve supplier's quality performance but also greatly reduce the cost of supplier management.

Why do you want to leave your current company? And I think your work experience is nearly match the requirement of Carrefour.
